Shell999 was built with one clear goal: to be the most trusted, most complete, and easiest-to-use online betting platform for Malaysian users. From Liga Super and EPL football to BWF badminton, MPL Malaysia esports, and live casino — it's all under one roof with shell999.
Every decision we make — from platform design to how we offer odds — is grounded in these two core principles.
Shell999 started from a very simple observation: many sports fans in Malaysia — people who follow every Liga Super match, who stay up watching EPL with friends, who cheer out loud when Lee Zii Jia wins the third set in a nail-biting match — didn't have a betting platform that was truly built for them. The platforms available at the time were either too complicated, too opaque with their odds, or didn't support the payment methods Malaysians use every day, like Touch 'n Go eWallet or DuitNow. That gap was what inspired the creation of shell999.
The team behind shell999 are hardcore sports fans themselves. We know the frustration of odds that aren't updated while a match is in progress, the dissatisfaction of waiting days for a withdrawal, and just how crucial trust is in this industry. So when shell999 was built, it was built from real experience as users — not purely from a business perspective.
Today, Shell999 offers betting coverage across more than 30 sports and entertainment categories. The football section covers everything that matters to Malaysian fans — from Liga Super Malaysia and the FA Cup through to the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A. BWF World Tour, Thomas Cup and Uber Cup badminton matches receive full coverage with odds updated every second, because we know just how deeply badminton resonates with Malaysians. The e-sports section covers MPL Malaysia, VCT Challengers, and international Dota 2 and CS2 tournaments that are rapidly gaining popularity among the country's younger generation.
Shell999's Live Casino is among the most complete offerings in the Malaysian market. With games including baccarat, blackjack, roulette, dragon tiger and sic bo streamed live from high-quality studios, players get an experience that rivals a real casino without leaving home. Professional dealers, a responsive interface and competitive odds make Shell999's Live Casino a growing favourite among players across Malaysia.
One thing that sets shell999 apart from many other platforms is our commitment to seamless payments for Malaysian users. We understand that payment methods are one of the most critical aspects of the online betting experience — slow deposits or a complicated withdrawal process can ruin the entire experience even if the platform itself is excellent. That's why shell999 supports all major Malaysian e-payment methods, including DuitNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. Deposits are typically processed within seconds, while withdrawals to e-wallets or bank accounts are completed in 5 to 15 minutes — among the fastest in Malaysia's industry.
Shell999 also takes data security and game fairness seriously. All transactions on the platform are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption — the same technology used by major banks in Malaysia. Odds are audited regularly to ensure they remain fair and competitive with the market. Shell999's return-to-player rate exceeds 97% across all sports categories, meaning for every RM 100 wagered collectively by all players, more than RM 97 is returned in winnings. This is a figure we're proud of and committed to maintaining.
Responsible gaming is another core principle we never compromise on at shell999. We understand that betting can become addictive for some, and it's our responsibility to provide tools that help players stay in control. Daily and weekly deposit limits, a temporary self-exclusion option, a free odds calculator, and suspicious betting pattern notifications are among the responsible gaming features built into the shell999 platform. We believe players who bet wisely and responsibly will stay with shell999 longer — and that's good for everyone.
Shell999's customer support operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in both Bahasa Melayu and English. Our support team genuinely understands sports and betting — they're not just reading from a script. Whether you have a question about how Asian Handicap works, why the odds on a particular match moved a certain way, or you're dealing with a transaction issue, you can reach us via live chat and get a useful, informed answer within minutes.
The Shell999 journey is far from over. We continue to invest in technology improvements, new market additions, faster platform performance and better bonus programmes for our loyal members. Our goal is straightforward: when a Malaysian sports fan thinks about betting on the next badminton match, wants to enjoy a Live Casino session on a Friday night, or wants to back their favourite MPL Malaysia team — Shell999 is the first name that comes to mind. We're confident we're well on our way.
